Black nickel plated Star Trek The Next Generation ball launch gun handle set (1 left side & 1 right side).  

This is a new production run utilizing the original mold. 

Even though the original Williams drawing called for black nickel plating, in the end Williams decided to go with plain black wet paint (presumably as a cost cutting measure).  This paint can easily be worn or chipped off.  

This new production run realizes the original vision for this gun handle; black nickel plating.
