This kit is only needed for new Stern cabinets with angled metal speaker panels.   It is not needed for earlier games with wood speaker panels.

Includes :

(1) Clear display shield to replace the red shield that shipped with the game.  

Optional LCD mounting standoff kit includes:

(4) 3/8" long, 1/4" hex, #6 m-f spacers                  

(4) 5/8" long, 1/4" hex, #6 female spacers          

(8) 3/8" OD, #6 washers                                      

The standoffs are placed on the four corner posts and prevent the LCD screen from making contact with the posts and speaker panel.  A mounting diagram can be found on the hardware support page.  Standoffs are not used for mounting LED displays.
